3 Waste Operatives Required for Fife, Scotland.

3 Waste operatives required for conveyor belt sortation work based in Fife (near Kinross) Scotland .Immediate starts for suitable candidates. shift start times 0600hrs to 1400hrs mon-fri and 1400hrs to 2200hrs mon-fri. Must have own transport due to site location (no public bus or train routes near site) . Must have suitable waste sortation experience or used to extremely dirty /noisy working conditions.

Basic rate £6.25 p/h ...shift premiums applicable. PPE provided where necessary.

A work history with checkable references is essential . 4 LGV 1 and LGV 2 Drivers Urgently Required

4 x LGV1/2 drivers required for ongoing temporary work . chilled and frozen food deliveries based out of an RDC based in Livingston West Lothian. You must be fit and able to do caged deliveries (handball involved) , palletised loads, competent with paperwork, good communicator. Experience of isotrack working to designated route and time schedules / dealing with retail stores staff . Smart appearance (no jeans) , used to early starts (0330hrs to 0800hrs mon-sat) . Delivery area Scotland and Northern England .
Basic rate of pay self employed (opted out £9.00 p/h LGV1 / £8.50 p/h LGV2 ). Overtime premiums apply.

You must have held your LGV1 /2 licence for a minimum 2 years and have had a minimum 180 days driving experience in the last 2 years. NO CD/DD offence codes accepted and a maximum of 6 points for minor offences accepted .

Own telephone / PPE preferred but PPE will be provided where applicable . Own transport preferred due to start times / site location and lack of public bus services...

Mechancial and Electrical Fitter - Temporary to Permanent

Salary 18-20k, Monday to Friday 0700 am till 1600 hrs (temporary for 12 weeks then transfer to permanent status ) Interviews held Coatbridge week commencing 10/10/11.

Description:

The fitter will maintain, service and repair the full range of hire equipment ensuring that it is clean, safe and of a good quality you would be happy to hire

Job Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company and values of the business and portray a professional and businesslike image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in course of your work.
  • Routine service and maintenance on all items of stock including seasonal preventative maintenance, and following procedures as from time to time laid down by the Company.
  • To inform the Workshop Manager of spare parts required for cost effective repairs, ensuring that equipment is out of service for as short a time as possible.
  • Estimate and advise accordingly on all equipment repair costs whether for write off, consideration or for damage, recharge to customers.
  • Inform the Workshop Manager of repairs which are under warranty.
  • Carry out major overhauls and refurbishment (e.g. painting) of all hire equipment as and when necessary.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Manager on future stock requirements for hire, and repair the required items to meet these plans.
  • Advise of problems with particular items of stock regarding safety and reliability.
  • To keep service records, including daily worksheets and update onto Spanner
  • Involvement with Workshop Manager where necessary with product training.
  • Maintain working area in a clean and organised manner, adhering to group and company guidelines on Health and Safety at Work.
  • Adhering to all the company’s safety guidelines including wearing of all personal protective equipment and company overalls.
  • Develop, maintain and expand fitting experience and aptitude to encompass all types of equipment as required by the Workshop Manager.
  • Carry out other task or duties as from time to time required by the Company.
  • Be a key driver in serious about safety by working as a team to adhere to safety guidelines
  • Ensure all locations are maintained to our 360◦ brand
.Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Experience in fitting mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Competent understanding of the carrying and transportation of hazardous goods
  • Can demonstrate product knowledge including the powered access range/access range
  • Manual Handling Awareness
  • Be willing to drive a forklift if required
